Siegfried: Short Synopsis

Siegfried, son of Siegmund and Sieglinde, was raised by the dwarf Mime due to the death of his mother. Mime tried to use Siegfried to get the ring. Siegfried despised Mime.

Intrigued by Mime, Siegfried defeated Fafner. On the advice of a bird in the forest, he obtained the ring and the hidden cape. He goes to the crag to awaken Brünnhilde, who sleeps in flames.

Siegfried and Wotan meet. He breaks Wotan’s spear. Siegfried awakens Brünnhilde, who sleeps in flames.
